I'm in first in a 10-man league and here is my lineup:

QB Kurt Warner
WR Braylon Edwards
WR Larry Fitzgerald
WR Wes Welker
RB Brian Westbrook
RB Willis McGahee
TE Todd Heap
K Vinatieri
D Detroit

BN Santonio Homes
BN Jeff Garcia
BN Travis Henry
BN Chester Taylor
BN Dwayne Bowe
BN Deion Branch

I am looking solid IMO to win this league, with the only weaknesses at QB (hopefully solved by Warner) and possibly TE. My concern is that with Baltimore being so horrible and Heap being consistently banged up this year they might shut him down near the end of the season.

What do you guys think of this trade proposal I am considering sending to a team that is on the playoff bubble--

I give up Heap and Chester Taylor for Shockey. I think this will shore up the TE position as Shockey is a comparable player (when both are healthy), and stands zero chance of getting shut down (barring injury) as the Giants will no doubt be playing meaningful games in weeks 15 and 16. Plus, Shockey plays two below-average pass Ds in those weeks in Washington and Buffalo. I think he might bite on Taylor as he is weak at RB (currently starting Addai and Lendale White, with Lamont Jordan on the bench). I don't see myself pulling Westbrook or McGahee, and in the case of injury I am still left with Travis Henry. Plus, Rudi Johnson is a FA, so if he accepted the trade I would pick up Johnson w/ my empty roster spot.

Thoughts?

I would pull the trigger Harry. Even though Taylor will get some more carries with the Peterson injury, Shockey is a better option at this point than Heap. Outside of McGahee, you can't start any offensive players from Baltimore. Way to streaky. With Burress playing hurt every week, Shockey seems to be the go to guy for Eli. I'd pull that trigger.
